Loft conversion: 2nd Master Bedroom (plus smaller double) ? Or 2 even
Comments (5)We had the same dilemma and opted for a slightly larger main a Jack and Jill bathroom and used the slightly smaller double as a massive walk in wardrobe (a future owner could use the room as another double bedroom but for us the space for clothing was much better as a solution than a spare room that would rarely be used). Due to the eaves the hanging room is limited in a loft so better and cheaper to use drawers and hanging rails under the eaves for storage (rather than bespoke wardrobes) which meant it being on show so we wanted it in a separate room to our sleeping area....it's a wonderful haven now and we love it...hope that helps - to see a walk through........See Morehelp! double storey rear vs single storey rear+loft conversion?

Comments (9)Thanks Obobble, Looks like you have a pressurise/unvented system with an accumulator and a couple if expansion vessels. My understanding was that you could still only get the pressure of the mains (i.e. your 1bar) in this type of system. What is the footprint of your cupboard to hold this, if you dont mind? Thanks...See MoreLoft conversion potential?
Comments (1)Hi, Technically the addition of a loft would not change your current escape route situation. Best to enquire this with your local Building Control, usually they're able to advise this over a phone call. Another option would be to reconfigure the internal layout....See Morekwg kwg
