Our garden shed was built by the previous owners. It's basically just a roof and two walls, tucked between our house and the neighbors to the right. We painted it gray and white to match our house, but it - or rather its roof - is still unsightly, so we're going to hide the whole thing behind a tall modern horizontal slat fence. The huge plus of the garden shed, besides being rather large and well insulated, is that it turned the garden into a completely private atrium.

You're welcome. Another, and I think better, option would be to move the containers next to the shed, and place the trellis screen a bit more towards the house, so you'll hide the containers in one go. Could you remove the parts of the fence that you can't reach now, so you can paint them? I think you can perhaps take them down from the neighbours' side?

Hi Michal Thanks for your comments.. I would definitely go with the black from the green, it looks much richer and the plants just pop in front of the black. It does not close the garden in at all. As for painting the fence post, I have always painted mine as I don't like the look, I personally think it looks more industrial if they are not painted, also one side of my garden has wooden posts which are painted which I think it would look odd if the other side wasn't. I have always used Cuprinol ducksback, brilliant paint with good coverage. I have so far used nearly three 5L tins of it and have painted 20 panels with two coats. Hope all this helps.
