It's a good idea, but I've never found anything that makes it 'unscratchable'. So as it's got to go in a rental, i'd prefer a glass that's fired and can't scratch.
We just had glass delivered to match the walls in our kitchen ( today's project )
Failing all else i could probably get that firm to make one.
