Hi the floor tiles we are using are from tops tiles , I can't see them on their website but they have them in their shop . They are dark grey/ black 30x60 and are Matt but in certain lights have a very tiny sparkle . Not the ones with big sparkly bits and that are shiny . If I go in again I will find out the name . Your sink is lovely also . I just like ours as it has a Matt finish with a limestone look even though it's white .

Hello Robin, No need to remove anything just add a huge mirror on the right hand wall with some height as I suggested earlier in the thread, then you will get a border reflected and also the arch! It is quite important to work with what you have, and you can cleverly with the oversized mirror! eBay have a shop for them! Once you paint frame to match the walls you will see how useful it could be. Possibly 8ft by 8ft as high as you can go to get the arch in! It's what I would do.. :))

Hello Verity, the most popular choice is not always the best, anyway, my understanding is that with aluminium doors / windows the colour will usually be part of a polyester powder coated finish which is very durable and virtually maintenance free. Assumed not an anodised finish option. This means there is unlikely to be a difference in performance or longevity for matt or semi matt / satin finishes. I thought there would be an option for gloss also? [Some paint manufacturers grade the matt / gloss levels in 10% increments]. With these descriptions it's all about light reflectance - gloss reflects a lot of light [therefore shiny appearance], matt doesn't reflect as much [thus a duller appearance]. I think this is down to personal preference really and trying to establish what colour and sheen will look best in your room or space. If it's likely there will be a lot of shiny, hard surfaces [mirrors, tiled floors, lots of glass, etc] a matt may be better to help balance things out. If more matt surfaces [carpets, textiles, matt wall paint, etc.] a satin may be best to help balance. If choosing a matt finish this will also show up oily marks more obviously until they are cleaned off appropriately. Hope this helps, happy choosing!
