Comments (10)No worries ! Was fun to look how to improve it ! Also a good example of the difference a concept planner can make to a whole project, rather than just a kitchen and bathroom supplier ideas for one space. Might be worth getting a quote for it anyway ?! As utility and extra shower room will be useful in a family home , and improve its marketability in the future if ever you sell. [ marketing note - this is an example of the sketch consult service OnePlan provide... We happily provided this for free to this Houzzer, on this occasion . Normal rates would be £35 p/h. Full CAD images available too, at either an hourly rate or fixed room rate. We are freelance concept planners, selling only design !]...See MorePOLL: Would you ever let your partner design your home?
Comments (39)My husband trusts me and prefers I make all those decisions. That said I always ask his opinion on large pieces. If I left it all to him he would lose interest before finishing! Design is so not his thing. But then I'm not interested in documentaries on outer space or Lego.... Best we stick to our own interests I think! ;)...See MoreWe have 2 small en-suites next to each other and want to merge to 1?!

I've no idea whether we lost value - I doubt it because I don't think a second en-suite is 'expected'....See MoreToo small? Shower room 1.9 m x 1.2m
Comments (31)Hi Sarah, I think 1.9x1.2 is a small but not-too-small shower room! It looks like you have received lots of great advice already, especially the hidden cisterns within the stud wall to save space in the rooms. Its hard to tell if the floor plan shown is accurate or to scale, but it seems like there is a bit of extra space right of the front door. So I wondered if you could enlarge the main shower room to be big enough so you could have a bath with a shower above? This room could also have storage for general bathroom and cleaning supplies. Please let me know if this idea works for you? And I wish you all the best with your flat renovation project!! Phill...See MoreRita / Bring Back Sophie 4 Real
