what type of stone was used on the exterior?

I'm currently shopping for a stone just like this one for my home and I love that the tones on this white stone are more brown than yellow.

That is a Hill Country limestone mix with smeared mortar.

Not sure where are you based but I used Homebase Masonery Red Brick paint thinned with water. It looks very natural, doesn't leave a shell on surface. You can buy a small tin for £2.79 for 225ml to try the colour. To make it more bricky you can buy two colours and mix them to get some tones like Chocolate. Had a big problem to remove the eggshell White paint end up painting it over.

It's a really nice colour. You may need to go the next shade up as colours tend to be a couple of shades lighter on the exterior but it depends what you like. I'd get some testers. If you're painting directly on the wall you'll need to paint out some of the yellow with white otherwise it will distort the colour. Paint large samples using a min of 2 coats on each side of the house so you can see how it changes. I saw your comment on the other post earlier, I'm finally in the middle of having mine painted (3 years on!). I actually ended up going for F&B colours in the end but colour matched to Johnstones everywhere as it was just too dear other than for my front door which will be in LG.

Exterior stone cladding?

Hi! I'm not sure if I completely understand your question. When you say fascia (this is the bit at the edge of the roof) do you really mean facade (that is the whole of the elevation or face of the building)? When you're speaking with any stone masons it will help to be clear on which bit you mean. I assume that you mean facade. In which case I'm wondering do you mean that you are changing the windows to anthracite to the whole building, or are you only talking about the stone clad section? For natural stone cladding you're probably best to speak with a local stone mason. So I would recommend searching local directories for one to speak with to get prices etc from. It looks like you have limestone cladding. For the stone clad section I would suggest that you maintain the verticality and simplify the finishes. You can enhance it with a modern contrasting material instead of adding more stone by: 1. change the first floor windows to floor length where the balcony is by removing the brick wall below the window cills - this will also give you more light into the room. 2. overclad areas of brick and replace the timber-looking horizontal cladding with anthracite coloured powder coated metal cladding panel - this will connect up all the windows and doors 3. or paint the white cladding at the top if its timber to match the anthracite, you could also paint the brick with masonry paint to match the anthracite - though personally I'm not keen on painted brick as it then needs to be maintained with repainting every few years and in between it can peel off, but it's a lower cost option that will give you a similar effect.
