Do you have customers using these sheds in the Bay Area?

We live in the bay area and we're considering adding a studio shed to our backyard. Given that you're based in Louisville, CO how does shipping/building work?

Hi Joshua! We have Studio Shed customers all over the Bay Area and California is our second largest market behind Colorado. Most people in your region have purchased them to use as offices/added living space but some have bought "just sheds".

Shipping is calculated using your zip code as is the cost of installation in your area (if you choose to have our Certified Installer build the shipped kit vs. "DIY" or hiring your own contractor).

id do this; make the trough into a bench and put some outdoor cushions on it, paint the neighbouring extension a light colour, get someone to make a wall hung 'table' that drops flat to the wall on the side of the house (useful for those coffee mornings) that is painted the same colour-above the 'table' put up a trellis also painted the same colour-there are some great hanging planters that could be hung here and you wouldn't have to stick to filling them with only plants. we have a narrow path similar to this-wasted space is what I call it-and thought of putting a shed within its confines. after seeing your picture its made me decide to do something similar. cheers, thanks for putting on the picture and making a light bulb go on in my head.x

I share the care of my 92 yr old mother with my sister (who is 70 herself). I still go Out to work albeit part time and I have my own grandchildren.yother has no other carers except "her girls" and we do everything in the house & garden. So, yes, I do have a cleaner for my own 4 storey Victorian townhouse as I figure if mum won't have paid help them I have to. My cleaner is an angel but her life is made easier as it's now Only My husband and I rattling around at home and do don't make much mess anyway.

I agree! As it is not always feasible to install real timber or stone, Karndean is the best vinyl option. I am going to have 36sqm of it installed in my own place. I have direct contacts with the manufacturers here in the UK. If anyone is interested, please inbox me and will get you in touch.

Thank you guys ... food for thought as always! @ Jonathan, it was a bit of a dilemma trying to work out what room to put into what zone as where the lounge is will be suffering from inner dark room syndrome. In the end we decided to put the lounge there as the kitchen and dining spaces are where we want the most natural light. We have the sofa in that configuration because it's a set we own and was an expensive very big custom built U shaped one so it has to come with us! Plus with the TV going on the wall the utility wall, it would not work for us in terms of having the sofa symmetrically around the TV ... the final thing to settle it was that on some days when we have finished dinner and can't be bothered to do the dishes straightaway, at least we don't have to look at them ha ha! @ Cathy when we tend to have large social gatherings we are always in little clusters all over the house and when we have small friends gatherings we tend to spend the whole evening at the dining table ... maybe moving to the lounge for final coffees but not always however now we are planning to have a corner fireplace it will be nice to "retire" in the lounge Re: storage, there is going to be a sideboard behind the sofa (to hopefully stop them from moving back) which will serve as storage ... though am sure hubster will have ideas of making it a minibar! Back to @ Jonathon - I think the bench idea for extra seating around the dining table is a very good one which I hadn't thought about. It will serve the purpose of as Jen P said, being able to sit and look at the garden and also provide the much needed extra seating when we have family get togethers and save us having to stock up on extra chairs! I think a bench with storage underneath perhaps the way to go?
