Comments (14)The cupboards are a peachy orange colour and the floor a yellow colour and both are warm so I wouldn't choose yellow. Does she want it brightening or colour adding? Anything darker than what is there now will not brighten it but may make it look a bit more sophisticated perhaps? Comments (14)Thanks for suggestions ...so cans from top of dresser have gone (in garage) Rugs gone as it was wrong style (but nice on stone floor) I need the blinds going through to conservatory for privacy on an evening. 6 years agolast modified: 6 years agoIt could look amazing with some depth of colour. To me, the limestone tiles need something with a blue or green undertone, but subdued. The green in the second picture is lovely, will try to find out what it is. I would consider removing the dresser bit to the left of the window as it looks quite 'heavy' if that makes sense. Upper units could be painted a paler colour and that end wall could be painted the same deep dark colour such as deep dull blue or green.

6 years agoIf you like the green it might be worth looking at little Greene livid (door) and pleat (wall). I haven’t seen them in the flesh though and they’re not on my colour chart but recently came across them and thought they looked lovely!
