Hi
The height of this item is listed as 150cm, is that from ceiling to the base of glass globe? This seems very long very item. Can you change the length of the lights?

The lantern roof joining up with the Crittall windows - so much light and height. Couldn’t have it in my house though as we are S facing and would bake. The cat is also gorgeous! The cabinets, though beautifully made, you can keep. I prefer drawers. I’d ditch the old style tap for a more practical level mixer. And brick as a splashback would be hard to keep clean. It does all look gorgeous but not the most practical.

Hi Julie. Is it is a modern country look you're after? This fabric from cabbages and roses may work. The background is detailed as blue but it looks a grey/blue to me which should work with your tiles and carpet which looks as if it's has a blue undertone and it also appears to have a rich cream in (hard to tell colours online sometimes!). I can't see the curtain pole but can it go any wider? I haven't found the best pic but a sisal rug with grey tones would add texture. Do you have a wall to place A floor standing mirror to bounce some light? Is the lamp a cloche? Can you add a faux succulent or something in it? I'd add a few more accessories on the sideboard, pic will follow, but try and create a triangle shape with the height. Then choose items which match in colour, shape, material etc. An ornament stood on a couple of books can look good and books add warmth. You may just want to add flowers on the table but a wicker log basket filled with dried or good faux hydrangea stood in a corner can look quite effective

Hi Suzy, Soft furnishings, placement of furniture and the type of flooring you choose will have have an impact on the acoustics of the space. When planning draw out a scale plan (as Jason suggested above) and cut out templates for the furniture you would like placed with in it. Move these around the space considering your movement and how you will use it once you are living there. This will give you a good start on the layout. When designing for our clients we would also consider the light coming into the space, sight lines etc. We then also create a 3D of the space so you can get a feel for the layout and the heights of different items which can't be seen from a plan.
