This particular product is an anthracite recycled plastic composite. Do you like it?

Hi, the slabs were Natural Paving products. Premierstone Platinum. size: 900 x 600. They look brilliant, people love them, they are easy to sweep. However, they are a deathtrap! Kids in socks skid over on it and if there is the slightest bit of water it's like an ice rink, especially the steps! Am going to paint it with a non slip coating in the hope this solves the problem. You also need to make sure they are bedded on a solid base of mortar, rather than blobs, as the blobs wick up the moisture and you can see this on the top of the slab. Saying that, I do have a French drain under the patio, so there's a lot of moisture there. I only got round to painting the fence this weekend (Rubbish I know!) Started out the front and will work my way round the back as each panel needs adjusting as it's sagged. Oped for Cuprinol Silver Copse in the end. Really happy so far.

Agree with Forza, a country colour like a sage green, cream, beige, mushroomy grey would look nice. I painted my fence and gate with Cuprinol wild thyme last year which I would describe as a blueish steel colour and it looks great next to red brick. Here’s some random inspo pics.

A smokey grey would look good, you could also paint the shed in the same colour in a masonry paint plus that would work on the concrete too. As it would be a dark colour this would enclose the garden so you need to think about breaking up the lawn and patio area into 'rooms'. Perhaps a pergola in the far left corner with the table under it. Plenty of climbers planted around it would make a nice feature to draw the eye down the garden.

Afternoon everybody. So here is the latest image of the garden. Slowly getting there. I have noticed a weird thing in that when rain water hits the patio, it collects in the areas marked with arrows. The areas collect water, dirt and leaves and looks unattractive on the eye. It's also important to note that the texture of the Indian Sandstone paving tiles has ridges or patterned wells in some of the tiles if that makes sense. The texture isn't flat smooth for every tile. Some tiles have a natural gap, which I believe collects the water and prevents it from running down and off. Is there anything I can do about this? As you can see from the image, the garden is bone dry on the whole but pretty horrible in the said/arrowed areas. Thanks for your support.
