Comments (18)I have to say, I'm leaning towards option 1. As I may have mentioned in the past, I suspect the trend for grey and anthracite windows/doors/sofitts etc will end sooner or later and what folks will find is they're left with external features that date a house but would be expensive to fix. And whilst I like the look of the grey now, I also remember liking the dark wood windows in the late 80s at the time, but now think they date a property. :-/ (sorry to offend anyone who may have them)....See Morehandles for industrial style kitchen
Comments (56)Was reading back over earlier comments and it's funny because most of you guys like either the black or copper. LOL. Now no-one likes the black :o( I know most of you like the bronze - but I really don't. Sorry! Antique brass is nice but can't see to find any of the knobs I like in that tone as they only do the bronze or brushed brass/silver/matt black. Thought I was doing well to narrow the choice down but now you have all thrown me, LOL. trouble makers ;o) The reason I wanted black is because I didn't want handles at all. Thought this would be a discreet way of making them look less obvious. The shaker style looks beautiful and for me, better without handles but that wasn't an option for this style of unit I chose so I have to have them. I think if I don't go for black then I might have to go for silver (brushed or burnished if I can find any). Something I didn't want - but actually it will tie in with the rest of the appliances and then not clash with whatever splash-back I choose?...See MoreWhat colour door and door frame would you go for
Comments (9)Hi Mally, From the image it looks like your house has soft mud bricks on the exterior. Bricks have a dominant character in nature. They may steal the focus point at glance from your front door. Deep-tone coloured doors complements brick I would advise to have white or same colour shaded windows and door frames. Dark shades can be elegant, welcoming colors . Additional tip , you might consider carrying the same style to the garage door. As it will create a design flow throughout the front view. Comments (11)... also, i should add a caveat - the kitchen is still being rennovated - as you can clearly see by the fact that we don't have lamp lights above the sink, just wires - that's not the finish ;D (The kitchen pendants above the sink are these ones: https://www.industville.co.uk/products/brooklyn-glass-cone-pendant-light-7-inch?variant=9994088837&gclid=Cj0KCQjwxJqHBhC4ARIsAChq4atiHbRuKl-1YwIt2EIWwK8W3YdupQJD53iIkLCwvJR-gEpO6BbRnZcaAnO6EALw_wcB i.e. holophane style glasss little pendants x3)...See MoreLea Dinell
