Hi Bruce -

Thank you for your inquiries regarding if the Fontaine dining table. This piece is handcrafted from solid reclaimed Teak wood (no veneers or particle board) that was recycled from an old structure, and has a natural clear coat finish that shows off the beautiful teak wood grain color patterns.

Because this is a solid wood product, Teak Me Home recommends using Howard Orange Oil for all our teak furniture pieces. Just spray and wipe off with a clean cotton cloth to moisturize, protect, polish and clean the wood. Howard Orange Oil uses the power of real orange oil, is natural and does not contain mineral spirits such as silicone or linseed oil. It gently cleans, polishes, and replenishes the natural oil of the wood without drying out the finish, or leaving a waxy build up.

This table comes in two pieces (top, base), and assembles together through the base arms using four bolts. Our white glove blanket wrap delivery company will assemble this piece into the room of your choice, so you will not have to worry about lifting a thing.

Dear sirs:

You promised white glove delivery but on the Houzz website under orders it says "standard delivery". I am not capable of assembling this table myself so I'm asking to make sure that the white glove delivery is what I will be receiving.

Thank you all for the kind comments, the fabric is an Ashley Wilde design, which came from the remnant room of the nearest fabric shop - total cost of this project was £5 in material (they have a huge section of £2.50 p/m roll ends). The fabric shop has an online presence it is called grahamsandersoninteriors of Harrogate and I can thoroughly recommend them (I don't work for them) they have made me lots of blinds and curtains and they are great.

white is probabbly the worst colour for changing colour (yellowing due to UV) over time, if you're painting the decor panels, you'll need the paint code (ral, pantone, BS number etc) used for the doors. also i'd find out the primer being used as well. also find out the level of sheen the doors are. but TBH with a mass produced off the shelf kitchen supplier customers don't get a kitchen that has been painted all at the same time and possibly not all painted in the same factory, its quite common that one factory makes the doors then another factory makes accessories. also if the doors aren't painted but a vinyl foil then a painted panel isn't going to match anyway.

Hi Bruce - We stand behind the quality of our handcrafted teak furniture made from solid reclaimed teak wood. Each piece of wood is unique. Variations in wood is to be expected and celebrated. It is not uncommon to find several contrasts in the same piece of furniture. Grain variations and mineral deposits should not be viewed as flaws. These natural markings have absolutely no effect on the furniture’s durability or structural integrity. Knots and other characteristics are much like the nubs you find in such fine fabrics as silk and linen, true indications of genuine quality.
