Easy to use online kitchen planner, with 3d visual recommendations?

Tried a few, but looking for a good one with 3d visual.

Anyone recommend a free, easy to use site.

@Damian Farrell, the induction hob I've had since... what.. July or August? I think? Not that long. Took a while to get used to it, having always cooked on gas. Advantages: very quick, easy to clean, you can let it automatically turn off after a certain time. Disadvantages: sometimes the pans make annoying noises, has something to do with the resonance of the magnetic field I think? I don't know. But it can be a bit annoying. Make:Schott-Ceran, but the downdraft is from a Dutch company called Airo Design. Don't think they export to other countries. Anyway, almost every company does them now. Bora gets good reviews, Miele, Siemens... The videos on youtube show that the steam goes down and you think, yeah... right... But it really does go down. It works just as good, if not better than a regular one that is over the hob. I'm happy with it.

I don't think you have room at the entrance for that is planned, unless the small group of units to the right is less than the standard . Normally you would work to 650mm and under. You allow 600mm for the carcass, another 30mm for the overhang of the worktop, and then another 20mm for pipes / wires etc and to allow for unevenness of walls. Two lots of 650mm would be 1300mm leaving you a gap of only 60cm to walk through, which isn't a lot really. A normal door plus frame would be 850mm with the door being 760mm of that. If you don't want the door on there, and it's not shown on your plan then i'd use up the 760mm for walk through space and put deep cupboards on one side only. How much room can you extend by? As per an earlier comment, i'd go as far as you can. How far can you go? I've put in here extra deep, full height utility cupboards, for washing machine etc up by the entrance, the waste for which you can run in to the bathroom ( if you're thinking of amending it ). By extending this wall of units in to the kitchen you give yourself extra width across the side of them to make the kitchen wall longer. You then have a run of 2.5m an Island of 2.5m and the Utility area of 1.6 making a total of 6.6m of cupboard / unit space. I took the extension out by 5m here as an example. I don't know how much space you have to use. I think maybe, if you can do it, then going right across is a better option all round. At 3m it's like this:- At 4m you get more room so you can have a sofa a sideboard, more walk around room etc.

@Maggie Youngson I was happy with price and time frame. I live in a 1930s semi so walls are lat and plaster, was a messy job. All walls had to be boarded and plastered before units were fitted, the angular parts were custom built. Electrics had to be fitted and the floor matched in with rest of hall and then he painted walls before finishing. I’ve used this joiner many times before and he always does an excellent job

Hi all, As usual I’m very grateful for all your input and suggestions and it’s nice to hear some more positive thoughts around an island (although @OnePlan I’d have loved you to say an island would be the perfect solution and we could have ran the idea off into the sunset, haha only joking, kind of). If I do commit to the island I may have to increase the walkway space to the right wall and have an open ended island towards the end, kind of like what’s in the picture below, so I don’t require so much of an overhang which could free up an extra 100-200mm but obviously make my island narrower. I’m not 100% sold on the island idea but it is my preferred choice, but your comments do open my eyes more to the fact it may not work and gets me thinking about other layouts. Is1068 I certainly will let you know, hoping to get the ball rolling come the new year all being well. CWD thank you, I forever search for images my planned layout but it’s hard to find that narrow room with island (that should set alarm bells off already as there’s a reason for that!).
