Would you rather upgrade your conservatory roof or start from scratch?

One of the biggest qualms we hear about older conservatories is that they can get a little drafty in the winter. But what's the best way to solve this problem? Do you opt for a roof replacement and keep your conservatory's existing structure, or do you go all-in and start from scratch?
A roof replacement can alleviate much of a conservatory's draft issues. This is especially true with solid roofs, as they're better at sealing in heat. And they look pretty nice, too.

But then, sometimes it's nice to just have a fresh start and create your dream conservatory down to the very last detail. We've heard arguments for both - what would you do?
