Comments (3)You need space for a car turning - try turning your car round and find out where you find it easiest. You could have a lawn or flowerbed to the right in a curve in front of the turning space which could be near the house. Some large plants would make a feature out of the bed, like the phormium and tree do on the left hand side....See MoreFront Garden design help
Comments (11)I think all gravel but a largish rectangular bed in the middle for plants, seperated out with railway sleepers. Choose plants for dramatic shape and colour - maybe a black and white colour theme for plants? Dark leaved Actaea (Were Cimicifuga a few years ago) are great dramatic but easy plants and usually have pink to white flowers. They prefer shade and damper soil. Black grass (Ophiopogon) is also very easy and dramatic. Add in a couple of plants with bright white flowers and you've got something very striking. Plenty of evergreen conifers, yews and junipers to choose from just check on eventual height and spread. Or for a more cottage style you can't beat good old fashioned roses....See MoreNeed a Garden Designer and Landscape Gardener for a garden re-design

Also with the council not available to remove garden waste, we already have a lot piling up with the compost awaiting the date for when we can remove it. Our garden already has fence all the way around, however it needs updating as it has broken it a lot of places....See MoreKaren
