Due to courier restrictions, we can only offer shipping for the UK Mainland and (Northern) Ireland. Islands (including but not limited to the Channel Islands, Hebrides, Northern Isles and Isle of Man) and the Upper Highlands are therefore excluded from delivery.

Hello, I would get a carpet in lighter colour and smaller than the one you have now. Overall the layout looks a bit funny, as the sofa is large as well so I could rather see a smaller square carpet. How your living area should be decorated that depends on you, which are your favourite styles and colour? Do you like contemporary, eclectic style perhaps? You could go for yellow, red, cream, white, grey. I would suggest you to mix an match colours a bit, that always gives a good look to any room. I think a duck egg would work well for the evening but may look a bit chilly in the morning? Why not look at adding warm colours for accessories such as orange, coral, pink etc? You could also try a feature wallpaper. Duck egg is pretty much neutral so you should be able to find a paper mixing duck egg and warm colours. In terms of paint you could look at borrowed light or Teresa's green by F&B or Antiguan sky by Benjamin Moore ( apparently now available in the UK). I would just get a variety of testers, give some a3 paper a couple of coats and hang them round the room in various places and look at how the colour changes throughout the day

This is where we need to know more about your hedge which I can't tell from the photo. If it's Leylandii you cannot cut it behind the last green shoot because it will not re-shoot and you'll be looking at a brown curtain forever. If it's brown because it's diseased then that is another problem altogether! My suggestion is you join the Royal Horticultural Society and then send them a sample of the dead clipping for them to pronounce upon! I can't tell you about diseases for sure and not at a distance. You'll also get plenty of plant advice from them generally. www.rhs.org.ik you'll be in safe hands there (it's only about £40 per year and has other benefits too. Good luck.

Hi Heidi, I did a lot of work in Cannes last year, its a lovely location. The apartment looks wonderful, lots of strong architectural details, good proportions and light flooding into the space, a good start !! You really need someone you can discuss the project with who has the ability to visualise a concept based on your preferences and get those ideas down on paper. Your going to be inundated with designers who will pitch for this project. You need to consider four factors. 1 Do they have the ability to do the work. 2 Can they get on your wavelength so the interior captures your aspirations. 2 Are their fees reasonable and grounded in reality. 3 Can they present their ideas with artists impressions to illustrate their ideas. Taking into consideration all the above there is one final consideration. "Can you work with this person ?" This sounds like an abstract statement but an interior like this is the realisation of a dream for you, it should be a joy and as such you need to work with a designer that is both professional and on your wavelength from a personality perspective. On that basis you need to interview a quite a few designers. You need to be comfortable with that individual and have the confidence that he / she can produce a scheme that matches your tastes and have the ability to make it a reality.
