Cladding inside and out

I am currently looking for cladding ideas to flow from inside the house to outside, something like this.

My floor is going to probably be a mottled grey, it doesn't have to be the same as this, but just wondered what options there were or people could suggest. Instead of bifold I have sliding door and the wall will be flush once open.

Any suggestions? On the wall inside will be a TV, on the one outside where the chair is currently inset, mine won't be. it will sit in front.

Any advice welcomed, I know there are cladding companies or materials that are thin and light to put on top of walls, but it does need to be suitable for inside and out, as my floor tiles are also flush and the same inside and out. thanks

Help still required for this please if anyone can help? Doesnt need to be wood, just a material which can continue from inside to outside seamlessely and be weather proof? I know porcelain tiles will work, but are expensive, just wondered if there were any other lightweight options?

Very obvious but paint (plastered wall & paint inside, rendered wall & same colour paint outside)? Or mock brick facing would work.

Thanks Angela, I'm aware of the mat and ply, I'm more after advice regarding expansion joints etc and how to make them not so obvious and where they are needed inside and out and what's required on the join between suspended and concrete? Sorry I should have been clearer. Thanks.

As a tile importer and retailer, it's very rare for a porcelain tile to crack if installed properly. I'd not recommend juggling your Le Creuset to test the theory though... More and more tilers are using a decoupling matting such as Durabase to take as much movement out of the tile as possible. We also supply flexible adhesive and grout, so with a properly flat floor, it's rare for us to get a call from a grumpy client. We supply a lot of large format "infinity" look tiles, where you have an identically sized anti-slip External version of the Interior tile. Most are 8-9mm, so need a concrete base that mirrors the internal floor. If there is a 20mm version, then a sand & cement base can be used. As for kitchens, always tile the entire floor before the kitchen goes in. This means that the kitchen installer has a blank canvas to work on. It also means that the floor is completely sealed, so the chances of liquid ingress under the tiles (under the units) is pretty much nil. Finally, it also means that if you have any white goods that fail under the work surface, they can just be slid out, rather than having to remove what could be long an heavy lump of marble or granite to get them out. The additional cost will be negligible compared to an insurance claim...

Hey Saml1992, We did get the bradstone rendered, we went for K-Rend all over, including covering the existing render on the extension - and we couldnt be happier with the finish. We also decided to combine it with cement board cladding and it all came up a treat. I just took this photo (apologies its a bit gloomy here) so you can compare it to what it used to look like! The render and cement board has been up for 14 months now. (Still not finished the front steps though!)
