Love your wall paper in the bedroom it looks fantastic. Urgently need it for my dining room.
Would you be kind enough to pass on the name and make please. I have got to have it as it is perfect for the area.

If you want privacy at the front of your home to stop people to seeing in, then you could either change your gates to completely enclosed the area and have a CCTV system set up so visitors can alert you when they arrive. Or preferably, you could separate the two drives by erecting a fence between the two garage doors and plant a nice tall hedge 3/4 of the way along the front boundary to obscure the view of the main house. You could then reverse round the hedgerow and park the car at an angle so it is partially obscured by the hedgerow, with CCTV and security lights shining down from the top of the garage to give you peace of mind. It would be lovely to remove the gates and be able to look out of your front door and see the hedgerows, and they would also help to muffle the sound of the traffic

Lights which automatically turn on when I enter a room (especially in the kitchen and in the hallway from the bedroom to the bathroom) and lights inside my wardrobes (especially inside the one in the bedroom: I often get up earlier than my hubby, and it may be still dark outside, and I don't want to wake him up while I'm looking for my stockings).

Here is a slightly different take on the downstairs, I think this would open up the downstairs, and means that you can access the downstairs toilet from the hallway as opposed to the kitchen like before, whilst also giving you a separate utility. I think the entrances to the lounge as they are at the moment are a bit strange, and moving the entrance as shown might help. It would be quite hard to knock the wall down to create one big open kitchen living dining as you would need to put a lot of steel in to hold up the first floor external wall (would have to see the property to be sure though). I think the entrance hall with glazed double doors in front will give you a great view and lots of light into the entrance hall. On the first floor I think the ideal solution has already been shown. If you have a larger budget however, you may consider splitting on of the bedrooms to create 2 en-suites but this would be a lot more work, in terms of drainage, plumbing and moving walls to get the correctly proportioned rooms. It also depends on how many bedrooms you use, you may not want to lose one to create 2 en-suites!

You like the idea of a feature wall, so take the advise from those who listened to you and replied with feature wall ideas, there are some really nice and a bit different wood effect wall papers, that would look good above and then just extended about 24" either side of your fire place, also the mirror could be just a little higher, the family photos you have would be better placed above the unit that your lamp is on, also pulled away from the corner about 3ft, your other wall art would look great placed above your sofa, but not the 2 flower one's, maybe try placing them one above the other on a narrow wall, and have your foot stall/pouffe underneath with a couple of cushions, almost creating a reading nook, good luck with what ever you choose to do
