Comments (9)I would just put a clear glass splashback behind the hob to protect the wall. Having said that it would have looked better fitted before the upstand as it looks better mounted direct on the worktop. By having a clear glass splashback it will let the wall colour show through so each time you emulsion it will give the effect of that colour through the splashback. The units you have chosen represent a contemporary finish and I think you need to maintain this, so nothing fancy....See MoreJulie R
