This seat is certified for 150kg weight resistance.

Every family has their own amount of storage requirements - some small some huge - so very much depends on where you fit in beteeen ! Without the extension - if you put the dining in the playroom it would work ? If you only need the dining table occasionally - maybe have a clever table - either pulled up into ceiling when not required then clipped to floor to keep it from moving when in use - or a fold down table - or smaller extendable table etc etc but remember you will need storage for the toys - and a store cupboard for gold up chairs too ! ( this could - in theory - be the same cupboard !)

I think rather than fixing any seating - keep it flexible - as despite being a floating home - it looks to me to me moored in one fixed location ? So if you keep the seating flexible you can follow the sun (or shade ) ... 2x three seater or four seater sofas could potentially double up as two sun loungers - might be worth looking at... are you thinking of an outdoor kitchen up there too ?

Thanks. The seat is 50cms deep and was originally designed by an architect to be a window seat. It still has the same solid support for the first 40cms depth, I've just removed the original decorative panel and replaced it with a very thin radiator. The old wooden front panel and supports would probably still have fitted back in place but I disliked it and threw it out, and it wouldn't have been easy to perforate. I'd been trying to avoid a metal screen, as I can imagine it will clang a bit if someone's sitting on the seat and swinging their legs. But it's a good idea apart from that. My current thought is to have a fixed panel in the middle and some hinged doors at each end of the radiator (for access) ,with the MDF attached to the front edge of the seat rather than fitted underneath. I'll go and take a look at those metal sheets thought :)

Stick it all on Facebook marketplace - that's what I do 🤣 I have found a single hairpin leg I can buy on ebay 😃 - black or gold! Not sure if brushed gold but the tiles behind will be black. And white and the sink unit will be the light/mid grey to match the floor. Although the sink will have gold fittings,im wondering if the leg could be black as its against a black/white tile and I have a black mirror above the sink? Who knows. I have one on my dining table so going to try it begore buying 🤣 The front depth of the shelf is a 3" but I can make it deeper if needed
