Garden renovation ideas please

We are planning to renovate our garden but needed some advice....the garden has many plants and shrubs around the borders and in some areas they are about 4meters from the edge.
We have a small child who loves playing in the garden and have recently noticed a fox roaming around and hiding in the shrubs so desperately need to get rid of them.
Any ideas on what would look good in this garden?
I am definitely wanting a small play area on the right hand side for the little one with climbing frames and slides....We need a nice area to be able to sit and relax and the rest can be just grass.
I like the idea of having tall trees around the sides so that we can have privacy
Also would love a raised flowerbed and small area to plant herbs etc
Would also like some advice on which plants/trees we should keep and which to take out....
