what is the color temperature of the lighting?

I am putting in recessed lighting and cannot decide between 3000k and 4000k lighting. I’m afraid 3000k will look too yellow. But I like the color temperature of this kitchen lighting.

Hi there, 3000 would be better. 4000 would make your home too bright (more like a supermarket than a home). But always best to get a lighting plan done. Hope this helps.

A belated THANK YOU to everyone who commented. This is the final result. We're super happy with it. Room A north facing "through-lounge" in a new build, 3 bed semi detached house Paint Walls: Purbeck Stone, Farrow & Ball Ceiling: Strong White, Farrow & Ball By the way, the room isn't as long and skinny as it looks in the photos. Painting it all one colour actually made it feel much, much larger. We were really impressed with the quality of advice the F&B staff gave us in regards to colour. We loved Purbeck Stone from the minute we saw it, and being brave really paid off.

Hello, gold actually is a right colour as you used light grey on flooring, wall and sofa you need to add a couple of warm colours like gold or brown to your room. I used gold lighting on grey wallpaper for one of my recent projects and the result was stunning. If you and your husband don't like gold at all you can add dark brass but you need to add some warm colours. Chandelier with shade help. add some nice warm colour cushions to your sofa (different shade of brown). also coffee table books help.

I’m not too sure on peignoir, I took two different images of it and photoshopped it, does it look a bit meh? Moles breath I guess it depends on the light. I don’t suppose your husband would consider colour for accessories?! i will try a few more colours though
