is it red stain or paint, and what type of wood was used for the cabinets

Just came across your post and question. It is a red stain we called Old Barn, and the cabinets are birch. Both are available through dealers of Crystal Cabinets by special request.

That's not a lot of info to go with, but lets see... do you know what style of decor you generally prefer? do you like wood? if you like this kind of look, you could have white walls and black cabinets. or you could go for white cabinets and grey walls. now for colour: any dramatic and bold colour for either cabinets or walls, and white for the other. If you look above you will see I answered this question in 2018. I must repeat get hold or the manufacturer of the gas hob. La Cornue which I used to be the exclusive importer of from France has huge burners, which are commercial in size and use, so 150mm would not be nearly enough on one. The manufacturer will have done tests and should be able to give definitive guidance. Don’t forget if you put a pan on the hob the flame will span out far further under it. On Monday I would get hold of the manufacturer - I hope that helps.

Hi, I have very similar coloured kitchen cabinets and went for an antique brass.
