They are by Tech Lighting 700FJS Tibor Pendants Satin Nickel. I hope that is helpful. Cappadonna's lighting in Tempe, AZ was our supplier for them.

Very much like my hall (almost identical except ours is 1922 and thus the detail is a tad more Edwardian in influence) ! I've added a wall light on the wall going up the stairs and matching pendants from Fritz Fryer and added a plain paper from Zoffany (called 'silk plain') . Thus the basic scheme is very plain and layered up with artefacts (tables, hall chair, paintings). I've added mirrors to throw light around the place..and am hunting for a distressed antique one to go right at the top of the stairs facing you. It looks as though your stairs go to left and right too... so adding the mirror will I think create more light and ambiance in that rather dark junction. I do agree that it would be lovely to have the stained glass replaced in the door. I added full door curtains with a upholstered pelmet over the door which makes it look much less stark (personally I don't think the little shelf at right adds anything and I'd remove it ;( ). . I chose an embroidered linen from Sanderson for the curtains and used the same fabric for the landing window and hooked that back with a French swan neck holdback and they were hung from a brass reeded Jim Lawrence curtain pole which goes very well with the Fritz Fryer lighting fitments. It's still work in progress as our beautiful carpet had to be removed due to allergy and we're still trying to get the best result on the oak floor in the hall. Be lovely to see what you do given your layout is so similar! :)

When you say some other materials what do you mean. As it's a dining room I'm a little limited as to what other materials I can have. The lights are ceramic and the chairs are fabric so thought that was a contrast. I do have the living room part at the other end of the room that will have a huge comfortable couch plus a rug. I am not a fan of rugs under dining tables from a practicality /hygiene point of view. The other lights I like are these. They are metal and have holes so a little light will come out. I would either paint them white (I paint for a living and these shades are only 27 pounds each so are worth upcycling!! I would need 7 of these. Or if paint them in pastel colours and do some upholstery in the chair tops with white frames. I LOVE the white with the wood. I don't want anything too traditional. I'm going for pendants with E 27 fitting so I can have LED lights brightest that I can. Thanks for responding. Would love to Hear other comments too.

Yes ma'm, i know that, but i built a second home in somewhere Borneo island, and in here don't have any speacialist or even exterior designers in this island.. So, i the one will find all by myself and paid the contractor and the workers to built it.. i even bought the tiles and the things in the borneo city and its quite far from here cuz im in the quite small island in borneo.

@Lomuarredi - there is nothing wrong at all with doing what you did. The person asked for advice and of course you would recommend furniture you sell that you think would work. That's how the Pro's can be helpful and what I'm sure, most people on here appreciate. It's the same with window advice I have been asking for - if the Pro's help then I have no issues with them saying 'ps we sell the windows if you do need a supplier' - after all, that's ultimately what I am trying to find. Nothing worse than someone suggesting something only to find you love it, but actually you can't find who makes it or it's only available in another country, haha. I think if someone posted a general decorating question about which wallpaper and you decided to tell them to swap out furniture instead and put yours in, then that would be more of a spammy post and I think that is what Ribena is probably referring to ;o) ie when it's completely irrelevant to the post.
