Bathroom finishing touches

I need to finish my bathroom. I've added a few other touches since the photos but would like to hear other ideas for completing the space. Haven't got round to installing a blind yet (god help the neighbours!) . Thinking roller blind but what colour? It's a really dusty, small space so venitians def not practical. I also need storage. Under the basin space is useful but not enough. Only other space is above the loo. Don't want open shelving. Possibly a tall slimline wall mounted cupboard, but not sure whether to try and match basin/wc unit or go for a contrast? Don't think a mirrored cabinet would work because with would be at right angles to the large mirror. Oh, and would you paint/gilt this? I've lived with it like this for a few months and like it but don't know if a gilt effect would add more warmth? I'll be very grateful for your suggestions.
