Comments (4)Wow, what a big space! What is great here is that you have lots of room to play with. It really depends on what style you are going for. However here are some ideas! For the entrance way, a lovely console table would be a wonderful addition against the opposite wall to the door. Something reflective to help keep the place looking bright! This could be decorated with some accents like some bright flowers that really pop against the neutral wall. Maybe a little tray to put your keys and purse in as well! Can't see the space behind the door however maybe a statement coat hanger? Or it could even be placed in the left corner, near the double doors. For the living room space, I would keep the white chesterfield sofa and build around that. A white gloss coffee table would be great as it would reflect the light helping to keep the room bright and light, and easy to clean! https://omnari.com/shop/furniture/tables/coffee-tables/white-gloss-coffee-tables/ A wall mounted TV would look amazing against the marble wall, however if you prefer - maybe some art? For this I would pick out some statement art that incorporates hints of the general colour scheme. Also, a cabinet for storage! Hope this helps you and good luck with your design adventure!...See Morehallway entrances
Comments (14)Hi Shilpa, I had just typed a huge response - and it’s vanished !!!! Basically it was to say if you properly address the kitchen design in detail - this will then show the best places for rooflight and work lights placement - also can be good to work out best routes. ie to go around table seating area and routes from car to kitchen on shopping days etc etc . This naturally shows best areas for doorways to be useful. As you don’t spend much time in the hallway - you may find that good lighting over artwork will provide ambient light in there that is a less expensive option than an extra crittal door....See MoreEntrance Hall Design Dilemma - help please!
Comments (5)I agree with Minnie it's already looking lovely. I think a bit of texture would warm it up a bit. So I was going to suggest painting the door too and/or adding a door curtain - maybe a nice heavy velvet? Bottle green? You have a nice space to right hand side to pull the curtain over too. Also maybe a rug in front of the console table. I have a bit of an obsession with Persian style rugs as they can introduce lots of lovely warm, burnished type colours but that's just my preference. Something else on the floor would break up the coolness of the tiles - although you might have to experiment with some rug grips. Also some more art above radiator etc. It's already a very lovely hallway and so nice to have such a large space....See MoreE D
