I really like it, very contemporary. It might be a little awkward to use if you need to get close up for make up / shaving etc in a bathroom setting, because you need to angle yourself in to one of the non-antiqued spaces to see properly. Could you have more of a plain patch in the middle with abstract antiquing around the outside, it would be a little more versatile.

Saw an article on Apartment Therapy talking about mirrored splashbacks recently. Had some lovely photos featured, I personally preferred the options where the glass is raised up from the hob slightly. Could you maybe get a piece of the upstand cut to fill the gap? Also having it 'framed' by wall either side looks better to me than it spanning the whole space. I've mocked it up to extractor fan level and to ceiling level (I've guesstimated the tile scale but hope it gives you the idea). The tops tiles busca is very similar to ones by Original Style which can be seen in stores like Leekes. Obviously there is a VAST price difference, but if you are looking at one, you should see the other too. I was considering these but went for industrial gold by British Ceramic Tile in the end
