Mainly to be seating/lounge area possibly small table for eating - but have a really large eating kitchen

This would look like a beautiful seating area, to enjoy the views from. If you have a large eating area within the house, I would use this area as a lounging area. I can see some ratten effect furniture with a centre table and plants to decorate. That would look lovely. Perhaps go for cream or white furniture to keep the scheme light and airy. Or go with wood to compliment the wood in the build.

If you made timber stud walls and had the additional piece of roof mostly or all clear then you would still benefit from shade of the Wisteria in Summer. There are various clear roofing systems at different costs. Some access points (like rood lite windows) would be a good idea in two or three places, to prune the Wisteria. I built a structure in my garden using mainly reclaimed materials from a house demolition. Only the screws and clear roof panels had to bought. The wood-burning stove and the correct chimney with attachments is likely to be the most costly bit.

I think these kitchen units can be used with any colours. Can you take your inspiration from your sofa? If not choose two colours that you like and use these. I would likely choose a petrol blue for the chairs and barstools, add a painted wall in the same colour and then choose a brighter accent such as yellow and use it with restraint in cushions, glassware, lamps etc I would probably keep the splashback faithful to the kitchen rather than trying make it a feature- I would continue the worktop up the wall but if you prefer glass then I would choose a similar colour to the worktop.

In some ways it’s good to have such a large TV. Let’s face it you are sitting a very long way from it in your lovely big room! You are wondering how to make the door end of the room look used. I think we are talking trade offs with the design here, in terms of cost and layout. If you can spend a bit of money it might be worth investigating how to design a new fireplace that incorporates the TV. Sounds horrendous I know, but because you have a large tv it might work, though you’d have to be VERY careful about balance in the positioning and get specialist advice on insulating the tv from the heat from the fire. You also need to consider how much time you spend watching tv and if the upwards angle of view might give you a stiff neck from where you place the sofa...BUT... this would enable you to bring Carolina’s room layout back towards the door, making the room look more occupied, you could then also use celery girls idea to put a sort of separate more intimate seating area in the bay window - two statement chairs and a little table, maybe flanked by a pair of enormous table lamps in front of the curtains to fill the corners and highlight the curtains at night.

Hi. i dont think the room is long enough to divide it. Are you using existing furnishings as we would need to know the size. It would also be useful to see/know dimensions of the radiator on the left wall and whether the desk area will be used frequently. In any case I think I would put in a window seat and have the table in front of that (with ventilation holes for the radiator)

Not sure of what style you like but I would definitely avoid cane/conservatory type furniture and go for the most comfortable sofas you can get which will make you want to curl up in the space and enjoy the views. A large rug, once your flooring is down, will help the space also feel like a room and not an add on. A few ideas below

I would have to agree with Jules Mc - I have a conservatory and we purposely bought comfortable sofa so that we can sit and curl up to read etc. I would avoid garden furniture as it is not very comfortable and you will want to spend as much time in this space as much as possible rather than just occasionally sit. Go for normal soft sofa's! Hope this helps.
