Can anyone suggest bathroom paper to complement my new tiles. Wall not
Comments (13)Hi Donned2004, Depending on your budget, I would go with a textured wallpaper, also frequently called 'hessian wallpaper'; these are basically plain colours yet the texture adds depth. I feel like for the size of your bathroom, a solid paint colour would be far too heavy. However, if you'd prefer a paint: I'd go with faux painting. Again like the textured wallpaper, basically plain yet with a distinct depth. I think either would look stunning in this particular room. As for colour, I'd stick with soft beiges or similar so as not to divert attention from the tiles and simply because the room is relatively small I wouldn't go with a bright or warm colour. Comments (6)I would defo have 2 totally different colours , and change the whole look each time the other set was in the wash . Just need to pop the ' matching ' flowers like the ones in the three vases you have to pull the colours together when you change the colours over . Personally I would go for a tobacco orange for one set and something like a hot pink and jade patterned one for the other...See MoreColour for north facing bathroom, must go with purple!
Comments (15)I agree with Sonia and Johnathan above, a mid or light grey and I really do like the style of tile in the pic Sonia posted above too! possibly if you were able to remove the tiled border you wouldn’t be tied as much with colours and I think it would make it look bigger actually! just my thoughts :-)...See MoreGoing slowly insane trying to choose bathroom tiles - help!!
Comments (4)If you want something to not date (so much does!) then I would go classic. So simple tiles in white where they are needed, that is shower and behind basin, not all over. You could tile halfway in white, then paint above it any colour you wish. Paint is so easy to update and change, but tiling isn’t. Dark colours are very fashionable at the moment, so you could paint charcoal grey, navy, chocolate etc above the tiles, then when trends change, and they will, you will only need to re-paint the walls. Although classic greens and taupe never date. I love patterned floor tiles, but of course colours and patterns are a very personal thing. Do you have a favourite colour? Here are some ideas which you may like?...See Morenymum
