Comments (4)I would choose one wall to wallpaper as a feature wall, perhaps the wall that spans the lounge and dining area as that is well lit. I recently redecorated my kitchen diner and, like you, I wanted to add interest without making it look too busy. I chose a slate-effect paper in dark grey; it looks so effective that I am about to paper the window wall on my staircase with the natural/brown version. There are some fabulous trompe l'oeil papers on the market - what about a wood block effect, a leather-look or a faux library? I found all of these on eBay... Comments (92)I love Josette wallpaper. I used it on my chimney breast in my old bedroom. Loved it so much, another shade went up under the dado up the stairs and in the hall in my house too.
