What sized tiles for hallway?

Hi,
We're popping down tiles in the hallway, which is 115cm across as its narrowest/in the corridor through to a kitchen diner, where the tiles will run through, too. I'm unsure what size tiles to use: 45cm or 60cm square. The 60cm would effectively be 2 tiles across with a grout line in the middle. 45cm would be either 2 tiles with the stairs to the left then about 1/2 to the wall, or a central tile with even cuts either side. If 45cm we're thinking the first option as it would put the centre tile more centre to the door to the kitchen diner and patio doors.
I hope this gives a clear enough picture. If you've any queries just let me know
Many thanks,
Zach
