Chair with storage for DVDs, CDs and Books

I'm planning to make a seat that can store items such as: Books, CDs and DVDs for my GCSE design and technology exam. Storage for DVDs and CDs in my home has started to be an issue as films and music are now being streamed. I was planning to design a chair in which you can lift the seat up and there would be a box like structure where these items could be stored. This allows the items to be out of the way but still useful. Is it possible if I could please get opinions on this idea for my coursework?
