Yes we ship to Ireland, the price is dependent on which area but will be approx £75 for delivery. Please allow 3 weeks for manufacture and delivery.

We rent unfurnished, so always have our own furniture around us. I don't go in TOO much for the soft furnishings (rugs, cushions, curtains, throws), as they are cluttersome and really interefere with a low-maintenance life. Moreover, sadly, my posters, paintings and photographs have had to stay in storage for about five years, due to increasing fussiness by landlords/ -ladies about holes in the walls. HOWEVER, it is crucial to have ENOUGH of your own things around you, so that the web of YOUR things covers over a space which is, essentially, not yours. Minimalism has definite limits. Our last place had revolting dull mustard yellow walls, which definitely needed covering! Bookcases (with books!), a folding screen/ room divider, tension rods to create hanging rails, and one big rug (for the sitting room) come with us everywhere, like the interior of some sort of nomad's yurt! Seasonal and fresh decorations are another way to decorate a temporary home, and they leave only biodegradable waste, rather than broken MDF or shattered plastic! Leaf-skeletons on a string and rosehip-studded twigs (snap off the thorns!) for autumn (Fall). Holly, ivy and dried wildflowers for winter. Fresh wildflowers for spring and summer. Herbs in the kitchen.

Hello Emmeline, I too wash my mattress protector, along with all the linens every week and air the mattress weekly... However when thoughts turn to mattresses and bed bugs, it pays to remember our entire bodies are literally infested with microorganisms. Of those, are such things as follicle mites on our eyelids, several types that live on our faces etc. They are in fact benefic to our existence and while people scratch their heads at the mention of a creepy crawly, we really aren't getting away from them.. So while a clean mattress is a must.. It's a far more reassuring thought to have a shower or two! (Especially if you have studied these and looked at them under the microscOpe! :))

Hi Emily, I recently had a Velux 14” rigid tube one installed in my shower room which has no windows. It is brilliant and lets in plenty of light even on an overcast day. The light fitting gives a similar level of light at night. The cost depends a lot on the amount of tube needed - mine was £450 from roofing superstore who were really helpful and gave lots of advice. I can’t say about fitting as it was part of a bigger job, but was apparently easy for my builder to fit within a day and wasn’t done as part of re-roofing. The 1st photo is with the door closed and no flash.

Did you go to multiple showrooms and outlets to look get a scope of the market or maybe look online? I copied a hotel bathroom I had liked as well as a picture from Houzz 2. Did you measure the bathroom yourself? No. If no, would you be confident in measuring your bathroom yourself? No 3. Had you heard of any bathroom manufacturers or companies before you started research to do your own bathroom? No 4. Did you need a lot of help on the layout and design and bathroom? The builders planned it 5. If you were guaranteed by hundreds of customers that the quality was excellent + the manufacturers own guarantee would you still want to touch, feel and see the product before buying it - if you were supplied images like the images at the bottom?? See proposed vs real Would go with reviews 6. What do you wish you had / hadn't done? Happy with it as it is, though wish I'd got my own tiler and not used the builder's 7. What do you love about your bathroom? The big bath, the power shower, the space 8.
