Where to put a poster?

I got a poster from www.mavult.co.uk . It is quite intense reds and blues. I was wondering whether I need to place it in the shade or light in a nordic, minimalist room. Everyone in the room is automatically drawn to it. See the website for what it looks like, thank you for your help.

That's difficult to answer without knowing what the room looks like. You could put it on the floor in both spots and see what you like best.

Or you could attach photos of the room to a comment under here.

Are you in the UK? Have you checked out similar houses on rightmove to see how they've tackled it? Most of the houses in the price history section have floor plans and pictures. My preference is for bedrooms to have access to a bathroom on the same floor, so I'd go with taking out the chimney breast and adding a corridor.

Is the orientation correct? North-south? as that might be a reason why the estate agent is recommending to put the garage further back. I don't know what the house layout is and what is the prime garden space. If you look at it quickly, yes it makes sense to put the garage where you have placed it. But sometimes things are not as straightforward forward and other things need to be considered, even future renovation extension potentials, that can affect the house resale.
