Hi Clare, There are specific names for flooring colour, stains or paints - each manufacture chooses their own names to call each product they produce. This might help you to get the right look and match. Print out the pictures you like and take them with you to the flooring store or look online. Order or pick up some samples of the flooring that are close to the pictures you like. Then in your home, hold the samples up to your different wood furniture items just to make sure none clash. The one that goes with the most items you have and looks good to your eye in your space is the one you should choose. You can always ask others' opinions once you have your sample selections narrowed down. Best wishes!

They’re pretty similar but my favourites are Bleached Elm and Sun Bleached Oak. Warm Ash looks a bit cooler, despite the name!

I cannot make a decision on what colour/design of flooring to choose please help. The new flooring will run from the hall into the open plan kitchen/living room. The new kitchen has a laminate worktop called Oak Lodge and the cabinets are Cashmere. The rooms have good natural ligthing. I think LVT would be good and have numerous samples of Amtico and Karndean but have become overwhelmed and nothing seems to be right. Walls are all very natural soft greys and creams so very safe. I always thought I would go for a wood style floor but not sure if it would be too much with the worktops. I have been living with plywood floors for nearly two years and would like to finally get this sorted. Please help!!!!
