Comments (4)YOU HAVE GOT YOURSELF A LOVELY HOME AND IT CLEARLY HAS CHARM AND POTENTIAL FOR YOU TO CREATE YOUR DREAM HOME. I THINK ITS EASIER TO PAINT THE WALLS A WARM OFF WHITE OR CREAM. THEN FURNISH IT WITH THINGS THAT MAKE YOU FEEL HAPPY. DON'T WORRY ABOUT FASHIONS AS THEY FADE. JUST LIVE IN THE SPACE FOR A WHILE AND SETTLE IN. AFTER A WHILE YOUR INSTINCTS WILL GUIDE YOU AS TO WHAT COLOUR WILL SUIT YOU AND HOW YOU LIVE. READ UP ABOUT HOW COLOUR AND LIGHT AFFECT MOOD. AS A GENERAL RULE IF I GO WITH WHITE WALLS THEN I MAKE THE FURNISHINGS DARK OR BRIGHT. IF I GO DARK ON THE WALLS THEN I MAKE THE FURNITURE LIGHTER WITH COLOUR POPS ON THE ACCESSORIES. A GOOD IDEA WOULD BE TO LOOK ON RIGHTMOVE LONDON, THEN LOOK AT WHAT YOU LIKE AND WHAT YOU HATE. HOUZZ IS AMAZING, FULL OF AMAZING IDEA'S THE MOST DIFFICULT TASK IF WORKING OUT WHAT YOU LIKE BECAUSE WE ARE SPOILT FOR CHOICE. THE MAIN THING IS THAT YOU HAVE A FAB HOME READY TO LOVE. GOOD LUCK....See MoreCohesive paint colour scheme for north facing open plan rooms
Comments (2)Hi. I might look at something with warm green undertones. Perhaps f&b cord or string? You add deep red accents as shown or green. For Little Greene I'd look at Portland stone or Stone pale cool but I think they have a few colours that will work with new white...See MoreNeed help with my open plan kitchen living room colour scheme
Comments (6)Hello there, Thanks for your reply, and you’re very welcome. I have found you some similar colours to the list you have provided below: Farrow Ball Skimming Stone Dulux Elderflower Tea Farrow Ball Worsted 284 Dulux Dusted Moss 1 Farrow Ball Elephants Breath Dulux Knotted Twine I hope these colour suggestions are helpful. Unfortantly I wasn’t able to find the colour Wattle II or Wattle III, so I can’t match a Dulux colour from our range I’m afraid. If you would like to double check the colour names, or send me a link to the colours, I would be more than happy to find you a similar colour for you. Comments (3)It's an awkward one as a lot of the kitchen is in the dining area, and the space that you don't want to have a table & chairs is opposite the sink. You could put one of the armchairs there. Keep the sofa where one is at the moment. You could go for a darker cognac leather or dark grey. Grey tones go with the brick. A nice bright rug would look good, but I'd keep the walls light and airy as they are now. In order to place something like this arrangement, you will have an armchair near to the sink. Although the kitchen is lovely...........If you ever have the budget, i'd consider moving the kitchen around. Change the island possibly for a smaller one and turn the side run of units along the left hand wall to across the room for 'U' Shape, giving you a much better sofa / lounge area....See Morekeswing
