Your new condo looks lovely and I also once had the problem of a spare room. With that room you have 3 options: 1. Buy a desk with a bed which swaps round (see picture) 2. Get a desk and a sofa bed which turns into a bed when having guests to stay 3. Buy a desk and a wardrobe bed (see picture) I like the the first idea if you plan to keep a wardrobe and other stuff for when a guest stays as it gives you more space. But with the second idea the sofa can turn into a double for 2 guests where as idea number one and three the bed has a weight limit and is a single bed. Hope this helps x

Hi Beanie, Did you attach a photo of your dining table? Perhaps it's not uploaded, or I can't see it? You've got a lovely space, with gorgeous high ceilings, so lots of options for ways to fill it. I think the living room needs some more lighting, perhaps floor lighting, as your wall colour is a darker tone. Here's a couple of ideas: This is a matt grey floor lamp that would blend nicely with your existing colour scheme, while offering a lot of extra light. This is a matt black lamp that is black but still seems quite unobtrusive, because its legs and silhouette is very minimalistic. It barely has a footprint! Here's a mirror effect pendant lamp that turns opaque when the bulb is off. It uses these beautiful Plumen 001 lightbulbs, which are really eye-catching. These Saarinen tulip side tables are wonderful for brightening up a space. The marble options include varying shades of whites, greys and dramatic greens and blacks. The Kasthall Goose Eye Icons rug is a classic, and the pattern would tie the room together really well. For dining chairs, I'll have a think, and get back to you once you've posted a pic of the table. I like your idea of the black chairs with cross hatched legs. It echoes up both the table legs and the table top. And it not only avoids trying to match the wood of the floor and table top, but breaks up all the wood. What about this version which comes in black leather with some interesting stitching across the seat area. I think the leather would suit your decor better than moulded plastic, and this particular chair is a sensible price. They have the cross hatching that echoes the table, and the leather and black got with the vintage + industrial vibe of the table.
