Specific dimension rug

We are looking for a rug with very specific dimensions: 135 wide by 120 deep
(4.5 x 4 ft). Can anyone help?? Thanks

You can go to a carpet store, pick out a carpet and have it made into a rug with bound edges. Also, in some carpet stores/furniture stores you can order a rug in a specific size. Worth looking around for that.

Hi Pannacotta, I think the etsy one may be unique rug store, they overdye vintage rugs. I really like the rug from westelm, will it be too modern though if you didn't like the JL striped one? What do you think of their Cadiz one? I can't decide if I like it! Hi, I love this room and Hague Blue is one of my favourites! I would suggest a flat weave rug for this space. Flat weaves tend to be easier to clean as the dirt doesn't as easily get into the fibers, and they don't pull by little paws so easily. They have worked really well in my own home with three small children (and two dogs we often dog sit)! With regards to flat weave/dhurries there are lots of options. Safavieh has some great dhurrie rugs at a reasonable price point on Wayfair, so that might be worth exploring. West Elm has some wonderful kilim style rugs that would suit your modern space quite well too, and I believe many are on sale at the moment. Another suggestion might be a natural fiber rug like a jute with a cotton border which can be ordered online by the sq ft very easily. Both the internal rug and the outer border come in a variety of shades and materials to suit your budget and taste. A final suggestion would be to look at some indoor/outdoor options which are made from a really soft plastic (many you wouldn't even know are plastic) and can literally be hosed off in the garden. Check out Dash and Albert. Otherwise, have the white vinegar ready and enjoy your puppy! Hope this was helpful!

Also like traditional rugs, and i think using them just brings the same rules as any other. If using a specific rug, you need to build the room around it, and use colours in the rug as Forzaitalia says. So with the navy base you would have navy, maybe a bit of pale beige / to lighten, I think you may struggle a little to tie in your amrchairs as they are very bright, and the colour dominating, plus it's a colour that isn't in either rug. Personally I would say that if you want to work with the rugs, then i'd change the armchairs for a neutral colour. I too would go for the second rug as it's easier to work with and a bit less dated. However, yellow and blue will not work with that rug.

We had a previous rug made from a length of carpet, cut to size then the edges whipped round. We used a local family run carpet shop.
