Dressing a Large Window/Door

Hi,

We are in the process of choosing blinds for our snug/living area. We have three windows which we are dressing with recessed roman blinds. However, we have this large patio door and large window above it and we aren't really sure what do with it? Images below.

I was thinking of matching curtains across the patio door but leaving the top window with nothing. Would that look strange or has anyone seen any pictures of something similar before?
