Comments (5)Before removing any of the wardrobes i'd consider the down sizing of available storage. You could change the big bank of wardrobes for something that you prefer, but i'd keep them in the same place. The space over the stairs probably isn't big enough to put a bed in and bedside tables, so, even if you removed them i'd use it for a nice free standing chest of drawers / dressing table. I'd keep the bed where it is. However, i'd give the other little cupboard with the radiator in it over to the bedroom behind. This will give you a nice flat wall upon which to have the bed and bedside tables, plus give the other room more storage....See MoreHelp with awkward bedroom layout and built-in storage
Comments (4)i meant to have the bed over the existing wall and part of the alcove like this, with the blue bit being built to look like a wall, but with access through a simple door... Depending on type of bed headboard you could have recessed shelves built into the storage above and/or beside the bed to act as bedside table....See MoreBedroom storage for small/awkward space?
Comments (1)Maybe ikea‘s brimnes behind headboard cupboard would work for picture frames and smaller itenms in the open shelves. Have you tried a bedside table with drawers to fit by the door and maybe a round tray table to put in the window for your plants?...See MoreDebbie Palmer
