Comments (13)Hi Sara. Have you tried using the dulux visualiser app as they have a number of muted teals? I think crown also have a visualiser app although haven't used it. The doors look great stripped and add warmth but I must admit I always like them painted as they would have been however can totally understand the reluctance to paint them once they have been stripped! Will the kitchen be painted at all or the units? Are you also putting a French door into the dining room or is that just future thinking?!...See MoreDining room colour decisions
Comments (7)I think the fire surround will look lovely painted the same colour as the wall ( as borne out by Minnie's pic. The only thing that sticks out for me is the mirror above the wood burner. It's just too large and dwarfs the little fire below. Hopefully, with the fire surround up it'll even up a bit, but i'd down size the mirro, also change the style, the rest of the room has some beautiful country cozy bits and bobs, love that other mirror btw ( not so country cozy ), the ox blood sofa, the flooring etc. Particularly like the dark rose colour on the chair pad that you can see in your second pic, goes really well with the green. Maybe you could pick up a mirror with a chunky carved frame and paint it to match that rose and the sofa? Or go for something like this that gels well with the floor, the sofa and the walls...See MoreArghh! Need help with colour decision.

Comments (11)I’m with the keepers! I think you might end up devaluing your house if you took out all the original features such as the doors, latches etc. I think you need to experiment with some colours for the walls and look at replacing the carpet which is a bit of a cold grey colour. Also have you looked into the history of the house as I don’t think the leaded lights look like original arts and crafts style to me!...See Morelizzierose009
