Hi Charlie, The Orluna LEDs vary in cost depending upon the style and the dimming method used. The Curve fitting starts with a retail price of £55.14 +VAT with a non-dimming driver. The fitting with a mains dimming driver retails for£65.14+VAT. Depending upon the lighting layout, you will normally need less Orluna fittings than other brands as the beam angles go up to 60 degrees so there is a greater spread of light around the room. It looks really lovely! So what kind of kitchen will yours have? It would be useful for us to know the colour of that, since it's all open plan. I made a sort of moodboard for you of what I'm thinking. I did it with your original sofa choice and slipper chair choice in mind. Wanted to show you a slightly more square slipper chair with a more modern graphic pattern. Don't look at the design of the other sofa, I picked it more for colour than for shape. Just to show you a darker beige. And it goes nicely with that chair. But I like the cream or your original choice too. Will see if I can make a grey version for you and/or something with teal.

The dining chairs are really strangely shaped, that's why there is nothing on them at the moment. They are really wide at the front and narrower at the back of the seat. So any square or regular shaped dining table cushion fits really strangely. I would -like- a beige rug, but I know myself and our lifestyle here enough to know better. The bottom of the house is open all summer with us and the dog going in and out. I'd be setting myself up for frustration trying to keep it clean. I would consider jute, my husband doesn't like the idea of it but I don't mind it. Is it really rough on bare feet? I just measured and I think the widest I could go for a coffee table would be about 1 meter wide.

Hi Tani. Mmmm. Mixing colours by hand can be tricky in large quantities which is why I suggested taking a small sample of your existing paint first and and seeing how other colours change it. For sampling you can use any acrylic paint (acrylic has similar properties to emulsion) as you’re just trying to identify which colour you need for mixing, could be other tester pots, kids acrylic paints, artists acrylics etc. but when doing the final mix I would use the same brand and finish paint. In theory (and from memory) to make a dark navy blue lighter and warmer you’d need more of a dirty peach colour then add this to the navy at approx 1 part peach to 10 navy then add more if needed. All a matter of trying and testing. Having said all this it may be possible to sell the paint you have now (after all navy is popular atm) and get another colour.
