Comments (2)Hi, depends what you're going to do with the rest of the room. Same materials are ok if you're bringing contrast with the walls and accessories. If not - i'd go with the black and combine the two shades in the accessories and drapes you have...See MoreNeed a new dining room table should I go dark wood or light oad?
Comments (4)If you're wanting a traditional look then I'd go for a dark table. You could look at getting an antique table and adding modern upholstered chairs. If you don't want somethng traditonal then I wouldn't limit yourself to a wood, just spend time looking at tables until you find something you love and then plan the decor around that...See MoreHelp! Comments (2)This extends and comes with a bench. 10%off if you sign up. Just wondering if something with a light top would work though? Alternatively would a round extending table fit and just have a couple of stackable or folding chairs for extra guests if you can't store matching chairs? http://www.westelm.co.uk/parker-expandable-dining-table-g830?quantity=1&attribute_1=Medium%20(152%20-%20203%20cm)...See MoreColour scheme advice for open plan area
Comments (26)Hi, this is going to be a great space! I really like your theme of brown/mustard/khaki, it's going to be so warm and contemporary. What about painting the wall with the two windows in your living space a rich ochre/mustard and repeating it on the opposite wall. There isn't a great expanse here as you have the walkway to the kitchen but it will reflect beautifully. With those big glass doors and roof light you can afford to go darker. The current mustard wall in the dining area, you could go for a fun, bold wallpaper with complimentary colours. It'll all tie in effectively but you'll have defined areas. Keep the remaining walls as they are and add accessories to bring the whole extension together. Take a look at these wallpapers for inspiration https://www.wallpaperdirect.com/products/harlequin/kienze/151176, https://www.wallpaperdirect.com/products/harlequin/doyenne/136853 Good luck and enjoy it, this is the fun bit!...See MoreE D
