Comments (13)I recently painted mine in railings (I will be having the karndean parquet put down and the bath colour still needs to change). My room is east facing but with 2 decent size sash Windows. It shows as black in the pic but very much reads as blue in the room, plus the room is very light which doesn't show with my photography skills :( If you haven't got plenty of natural light then do focus on artificial. My panelling was originally in elephants breath and I think the railings has much more of a wow impact. Also the bath filler is very high up but we have a fixed screen to the side and it sits right over the bath waste so doesn't cause an issue as far as we can tell. 5 years agoYour new bathroom is going to look great! We love your tile selection. If you are going to tile the wall in the darker tile, then we suggest to tile the floor in the lighter grey-but same tile style. Just to give it some contrast. And since we have noticed you have blonde hair, lighter colour on the floor will be much more grateful, otherwise, every single hair will show ;) And also, have you considered half way wall tiling and then paint in a cream colour? That would look very elegant and would feel a bit more cosy, instead of going all grey. Good luck!
