Comments (52)I used to allow my Burmese anywhere and the wake up 'boofs' - cat talk for running up the bed and patting me on my face to wake me to feed them - were lovely. Then I started showing and breeding & got more cats. I'd wake to find myself on the edge of the bed while they sprawled out over 7/8ths of it! Now they all sleep in the kitchen, but kittens are due next month and will be born in my bedroom. Comments (30)At least daily here. I changed to washable cloths (flannels) specifically so I could do this: it's very expensive to change a store bought cloth every day. I also change the tea towel and kitchen hand towel daily. They absolutely need it as well. The tea towel gets soaked several times/day. It does depend on how large the household is and how much time is spent in the house though. If it's a single person or couple who both work outside the home, eat dinner out a lot etc, a weekly change is no big deal. Comments (8)I usually cook for the family with my husband, but there are days when our children help us. They like to cook with us some pastries like pies or cupcakes in most cases. I recently bought a stuffing machine to make sausages at home, and before doing it, I read the reviews on https://eatdelights.com/sausage-stuffer/ to be sure that I will buy a quality device. My children became interested in what it is, and they took the initiative to cook sausages for pizza. It was pretty fun to do with the family and figure out the instructions together. This is the material, had it near a year! Possibly get whole new cover made for the sofa as it’s all totally removable, super handy if you get bore of the material it’s finished in!

5 years agoCongrats on the move MATH and Math's wife!! Lanzarote is my fave canary Island so very jealous.
I'm sure there's nothing like immersing yourself in the culture to learn the language but in the meantime I've been doing these CD's in the car. Would highly recommend the Michel Thomas method. I've loved doing them. From a complete novice I've really improved in a short time.

Congrats to you both on your move, hope you have a fab time in sunny Lanzarote. On the practicality side I am the handy one in the house. In fact this picture sums up how works happens round ours :-)
