Hello, we are the trim carpentry supplier, furniture is supplied by another company so we would not be able to answer that question but if you contact the Builder, Camelot homes White Horse and inquire they should be able to answer that for you, Regards, YBDT

Me again! Can we also have a reader's how to section. Such as a designer showing in pictures how to stage a sideboard with bijouterie depending on style, or how to style a bedroom with accents, or even articles on how to achieve X,Y,Z on a budget (I'm sure Houzzer's will have an idea - maybe this could be a section in itself?) Articles on colour or pattern matching etc would appeal vastly methinks. Even simple things that can easily be found on an internet search such as how to prep bannisters for painting would give a more magazine feel. Also a regional links page for cateogries. These could accompany articles. For eg. an article on prepping with images and step by step along with a list of Houzz recommended companies regionally who could undertake the work or fix a botched job! Topics I would be interested in include: How to add value to your home, how to maximise light, how to achieve a professional finish decorating; interior design ideas; how to change the facade of a property; flowers for the garen, door way, flowers for shaded areas, climbers for shaded areas, scented plants, how to ensure colour in the garden all year round etc. Decorating/furnishing ideas to create optical illusions to create size/light etc. Thanks for asking. I love this site and literlly spend hours getting lost on it with a cup of coffee :-)

Hi, yes you would be looking at 2 small sofas if you had them facing each other. So the options you could have:- 1) Corner sofa with the L section being on the door side (presuming you want to keep your TV where it is) and the longest part away from the wall so there is a space to walk behind it. 2) keep the long sofa where it is and bring the smaller one around so it faces away from the windows (entrance door behind it). This will only work if there is space to leave a gap to walk through. 3) leave the sofa where it is (or bring it forward depending on how much width you have in the room? And put 2 x single chairs opposit each other in the same place it was suggested to have 2 x sofas. So it would be a C shape.

Hi Sarah I just noticed your message on here and thought I should answer as I've just finished two sofa sourcing jobs for clients so it's all still fresh in my mind! The best kid friendly fabrics to use would be wool, microfiber or leather. If you decide on a fabric make sure you ask for a rub test and it should always be more than 40,000 as this will ensure that the fabric won't wear out too quickly. Make sure the frames are made of hardwood and not plywood and are screwed and not glued together. Badly made frames reduce the live of a sofa and its comfort factor. The best seat cushions should be feather wrapped foam as these are that comfiest and most practical. Also they plump themselves up so you're not forever doing it yourself. If you're going to look at buying fabric separately for each sectional then you'd need at least 25/30 metres each if not more. This would probably end up being a really expensive option as you would probably need to spend a minimum of £50 per metre for a good quality fabric. I don't know what your budget is but there are loads of great sofa companies out there who can provide you with what you need without having to source fabric elsewhere.. have a look at these.. Loaf, Raft, the sofa and chair co, Willow and Hall, Perch and Parrow, Heals, Swoon, Habitat, Zoffany, Alter London, Sofa and More, John Lewis, Lux Deco. Hi all, thank you for your comments and pics. They were really helpful. We have decided on the French connection zinc in grey/charcoal (3 seater) combination with the grey leather cuddler. I’m just so excited I could burst. We need to wait 6-8 weeks so gives me a little time to consider paint and layout. Though I have already sold our sofa so we are taking in in terms to sit in the Ikea armchair and floor picnics. What kind of layout do you guys think would work? Thinking 3 seater on window wall and tv in same corner or where the chest is? or 3 seater on opposite wall and moving tv to corner under window and then cuddler either in centre facing fireplace or where chest is? The armchair and child chair will be at the other end in a reading corner. Positioning: The chest can go either to left or right of fire depending on tv location though it does not quite fit to right so I would have to go lengthways sling radiator or to right. The best of tables could go at opposite end of the three seater. Want to buy a new tv/media unit at some point. Not sure on style but think will need to be either white or a dark wood to mix well with the chest.. Colours.. I love the redoute Afaw rug to lighten the room and am thinking maybe two walls in a teal - farrow and ball Hague blue or another (open to recommendations) on fireplace wall and wall to left (where chest currently is?) to separate living from play. Not sure whether to repaint other walls in a brilliant white, leave in the soft white currently or paint in a pale grey. Can anyone help with suggestions? Also thinking a few pops of yellow with cushions and keeping the gold round mirror though it may Need positioning a little higher? Thoughts? Back to houzz it is for inspiration.
