What colours should I choose to go with my aubergine/cream kitchen?
Comments (8)I would go for high gloss mustard green wet wall where the tiles were. This colour looks great with aubergine and the sleek finish will instantly update the kitchen. Positional ceiling halogens and lighting under the wall cupboards to make the rich colours glow. I think three colours are fine, especially if you pull them together in a blind fabric or cushion. ???...See MoreDo I dare to go dark?
Comments (4)I wish more people were brave with colour. Here's how to do it well:- Paint the whole room even the chimney breast. Paint the ceiling off white or grey..... Sometimes a pure brilliant white is too much contrast. Make sure that the dark is used to frame lots of lighter parts- think pale curtains on a wide pole. Lots of pale pictures on the walls. Since you are drawn to the intimate look don't forget to light it well at night..... Avoid very white light, have lots of table lamps, an up lighter, lights in plants or under furniture and perhaps a few dimmers...See Morewhat colour should i go with on my frontroom walls to brighten it up
Comments (2)Hi. Have you ever considered a real interesting eye catching piece of art work to really brighten up an area, I think a select piece of art would really make the space stand out, add interest, colour, texture and add a great talking point to the room.... Please check out my website if you like the idea and please get in contact, commission work is also welcomed so if you like a particular style I can do in a select colour palette and size as an original piece…..I’m also able to produce all original paintings in high end print format, in any size same or smaller than the original. (all within proportions to the original so not to cause distortion) All prints shown are Giclee prints onto soft textured fine art media. All prints come with a white border these can be made to measure too. So lots of options, www.guigsart.co.uk...See MoreWhich colour cladding should I go for?
Comments (15)I like the last picture as everything matches, which is one of my concerns, as I definitely don’t want a white front door and I can’t change my white windows and garage door. Maybe I’ll match the front door with whatever cladding colour I go with!...See MoreCarolina
