Comments (2)I obviously can't see where the door is but could you move the tv to the door wall and have the sofa opposite with its back to the window? In terms of the bay, either a small desk and chair, 2 occasional chairs with a small drinks table or a chaise longue...See MoreNew Sofa/Seating in lounge advice please - colours, styles, layout etc
Comments (3)For the cushions you've chosen, I would buy modern sofa with clean lines in gray colour. The best place for sofa is the wall opposite the chimney breast and you can build the shelves on each side like on one of the pictures. Smaller sofa or two armchairs can be placed against the wall opposite the window. I would open the fire place and place there some wood blocks....See Morelounge lighting options
Comments (7)Hi there, It would help with an image of your lounge, in order to give you more suitable advice.I can imagine, according to your description, that your lounge is quite spacious, decorated with colourful furniture. From the options you have provided, I would advice to use the LED hoop, as you already have colour in your furniture, I wouldn't advice to have colour in the lighting too. Have you considered other styles that could look great in your lounge? I would love to help you choose your perfect lighting....See MoreLounge Design and Layout Help
Comments (31)Hi Joe, It would be fair to say the cushions do move about quite a bit and I have to nudge them back into position - particular the seat cushions. They probably move about because they're fairly light and hold their shape firmly so they shift around. The benefit of this is that the sofa holds its shape and still looks smart 2.5 years after purchase despite a lot of use. The particular fabric I have is very hard wearing. When you look close up the fabric is quite mottled so it is fairly forgiving. We have two young children who eat and drink on the sofa and the fabric still looks good as new. The sofa is comfy yet you are sat fairly upright, rather than slouching into it if that makes sense. I'm happy with it because I wanted something that wouldn't show stains, wasn't overly expensive (so that we didn't need to stress with the children) yet it still looks smart. I think it really depends on your circumstances and how you need your sofa to work for you....See MoreRhosei Leedham
