help with choosing wallpaper for my tiny vestibulle please.
Comments (11)thank you for your comments- Thos.Baker the pictures you posted look great but its just not my cup of tea:) AsvInterierors- i like the idea of wallpapering where i can use paint on the areas of highest usage. Will it help if i say that the wallpapers i was looking at are quite expensive and good quality, would that help with potential damage risk?...See MorePlease Help Identify This Wallpaper

Comments (11)I think the mantelpiece would look good painted white, although if you want contrast you could consider matching other wood types you have in the room, e.g. furniture, doors etc. A word of warning about painting the bricks, they are heavily textured so won't be easy to paint. You will need to thin the paint and do at least three coats using a brush. There are probably some guides on doing this on the internet. A masonry paint is best. Not sure if the fire itself is used and is being kept, but it looks rather dated and could be worth replacing at a later date, or if not used, getting removed by a plumber, and being replaced by decorative pillar candles or logs...just a thought. Good luck with the decorating and Happy New Year!...See MorePlease help me find paint for this wallpaper
Comments (4)I agree with Mayfly - take to b&q ( valspar range ) - get it scanned and made up, then you'll have a perfect match. I wouldn't go to dark or it will make the room dark for one thing and detract from the paper too. So, somewhere in either of these two circles....See MoreMegan Hodgson
