SINGLE PANE externally sliding patio door

Hello, in a small Victorian terrace kitchen (3x3) that faces the garden - not an extension - I need to fit a new patio door and am trying to figure out the best option for indoor/outdoor flow. The opening is only about 1000mm and hence too narrow for French doors. However, a single pane will eat up most of the patio. There must be people out there who have solved this dilemma already!


I found this image online (sadly, unattributed) and would like to find out more about externally sliding door (single pane only). I am interested in hearing from suppliers / fitters and anyone with relevant experience. Can anyone help?
